What is Forever His Bride?
Forever His Bride Ministry
began with a simple prayer in January of 2005. As with every new year, I asked God to give me a word, a verse, or a thought He wanted me to dwell on for the year. As I prayed and read scripture, I was overwhelmed at the picture of being the Bride of Christ.
In the midst of praying, I asked God to help me understand what He wanted me to see about this beautiful picture of the Bride.
That’s when an American saying rang in my ears:
“Always a bridesmaid, never a bride”
Then suddenly, as if the Lord just changed the word picture in my mind, I said out loud,
“Always a Bridesmaid, FOREVER His Bride!”
That was it - the beginning point of this ministry.
Those who believe on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ are eternally the Bride of Jesus Christ. But, while we serve here on earth, our focus must be as servant Bridesmaid to the Brides around us. We are to serve our Bridegroom by encouraging and equipping those Brides He puts in our path.
We Believe
WE BELIEVE in one sovereign God, eternally existing in three persons: the everlasting Father, His one and only Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, and the Holy Spirit.
WE BELIEVE all Scripture is verbally inspired by God and inerrant in the original writing, so that they are fully trustworthy.
WE BELIEVE that Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and was true God and true man, existing in one person and without sin.
WE BELIEVE the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures, and that all who believe in Him are justified by His shed blood and forgiven of all their sins.
WE BELIEVE in the resurrection of the crucified body of Jesus Christ and in His ascension back to heaven where He sits at the right hand of God the Father.
WE BELIEVE that all who, by faith, confess Jesus Christ is Lord are born again and the Holy Spirit indwells and seals them. thereby becoming children of God for eternity.
WE BELIEVE that Jesus Christ will soon return to this earth, personally, visibly, and unexpectedly, to gather His elect, to raise the dead, to judge the nations, and to bring His Bride home for eternity.
Our Mission
to the Bride of Christ-
to encourage her to be prepared in anticipation of her Bridegrooms return and to equip her to become the radiant, sanctified Bride He desires.
to Bridesmaids -
to equip her for her role as encourager, exhorter and servant to the Bride of Christ.
